These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer") and MyAlankarini ("we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of myalankarini.com and all associated services.

By creating an account, placing an order, or using any feature of our website — including Virtual Try-On, the Wallet, Gossip Wall, or Group Buy — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable Indian laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the site
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, virus, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with our services
• Use the Virtual Try-On feature for any purpose other than personal jewellery preview
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these conditions, without notice.

To place orders or use personalised features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information provided during registration

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend, or permanently close accounts at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of suspected fraud or Terms violation.

Imitation jewellery: All products sold on MyAlankarini are imitation/fashion jewellery. They are not made of gold, silver, diamonds, or precious stones unless explicitly stated. Product descriptions mention the base material (e.g. brass, zinc alloy) and plating (e.g. gold-plated, rhodium-plated).

Product images: We make every effort to display products accurately. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and photography lighting. The Virtual Try-On is an AI-generated preview and may not be 100% accurate to the physical product.

Pricing: All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of placing your order is the price you pay.

GST: Orders are subject to 3% GST on jewellery as per Indian tax law. A GST invoice is generated for all confirmed orders and available for download in your account.

Stock: We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse orders. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you and offer a full refund.

Order confirmation: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. The contract is formed when we confirm your order and payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to cancel any order before dispatch, with a full refund.

Payment methods: We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and Wallet payments via Razorpay, and Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible pin codes. COD orders above ₹2,000 may require advance partial payment.

Payment security: Payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store your card or UPI details on our servers.

Coupons: Coupons are validated server-side. Each coupon has defined usage limits, expiry dates, and minimum order values. Misuse of coupons (including creating multiple accounts to reuse single-use coupons) will result in order cancellation and account suspension.

MyAlankarini Wallet is a prepaid account that can be loaded with money and used for purchases and Virtual Try-On on our platform.

• Wallet balance is non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash
• Wallet credits issued as refunds or referral bonuses have no cash value
• Wallet balance does not expire as long as your account is active
• Virtual Try-On charges (₹3 per try-on for wallet-based usage) are deducted server-side and are non-refundable once the generation is complete
• We reserve the right to modify the wallet recharge and try-on pricing with 7 days' notice
• In the event of account closure, wallet balance refunds are subject to our refund policy

Nature of the feature: The Virtual Try-On is an AI-generated preview powered by Google Gemini. Results are approximate visual representations and may not perfectly replicate how the jewellery looks on the actual product or on your physical appearance.

Photo usage: By using Virtual Try-On, you consent to your uploaded photo being processed by Google's Gemini AI API for the sole purpose of generating the try-on result. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

BYOK (Free tier): Users who provide their own Google Gemini API key use the free tier at no charge from us. You are responsible for your own API key's usage limits and costs with Google.

Wallet-based try-on: Each try-on using wallet credits costs ₹3 and is deducted upon successful generation. Failed generations due to image quality or content policy violations are non-refundable if the API call was made.

Content restrictions: You must not use the try-on feature with images of minors, images of others without their consent, or images that violate applicable laws. We reserve the right to block accounts misusing this feature.

AI Support (Aara): Our AI support assistant provides general guidance and is not a substitute for official support communication. Responses are AI-generated and may occasionally be inaccurate. For binding commitments or complaints, please contact our human support team.

The Gossip Wall is a public community feature where users can share their try-on results. By posting to the Gossip Wall, you:

• Confirm you have the right to share the image and content posted
• Grant MyAlankarini a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your post on the platform
• Agree not to post content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, or infringes third-party rights
• Understand that posts are subject to automated and manual moderation
• Accept that posts with 5 or more user reports may be automatically hidden pending review

We reserve the right to remove any post at our sole discretion without notice. Posts containing competitor brand names, personal contact details, external URLs, or abusive language will be automatically removed.

Shipping timelines, charges, and policies are governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By placing an order, you agree to the shipping terms stated therein.

We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, natural disasters, government restrictions, or events beyond our control (force majeure). In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed.

Return and refund terms are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Key points:

• Returns are accepted within the policy window from the date of delivery
• Items must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags intact
• Refunds are processed to your original payment method or MyAlankarini Wallet
• COD refunds are processed as Wallet credits only

All content on myalankarini.com — including product images, descriptions, logos, design, code, and brand identity — is the intellectual property of MyAlankarini and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use (such as sharing a product link or screenshot for personal reference) is permitted.

The "MyAlankarini" name and logo are trademarks of MyAlankarini. Unauthorised use of our trademarks is prohibited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyAlankarini shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site
• Loss of data, profits, or business arising from service interruptions
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated try-on results or AI support responses
• Delays or failures caused by third-party services (payment gateways, couriers, AI providers)
• Skin reactions, allergies, or sensitivities to jewellery materials — please review material descriptions carefully before purchase

Our total liability to you in connection with any order or claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact our support team. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.

For consumer disputes, you may also approach the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the relevant State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
